Wellbeing
At St Clare's student wellbeing underpins all that we do.
All student take part in a weekly classroom wellbeing session which focuses on equipping the students with skills in the areas of social and emotional learning.
We also acknowledge national days such as anti- bullying day, Autism awareness day and Daniel Morcombe day.
St Clare's runs intensive wellbeing programs each term for a selected number of students, including social skills and anger management. We also offer a yearly program called 'Seasons' for a small number of students who have experienced loss and grief in their lives.
St Clare's employs a counsellor one day per week to work intensively with some students individually. Any parent may wish to access this service (subject to availability), through our referral process.
Students are usually seen on a weekly or fortnightly basis, depending on their individual circumstances.
